Weekly Market Report. Stronach, Morris and Co.. Ltd., report for week ended Thursday. Bth Juno, ae follows: Fat Cattle:—lßo forward. Competition was keen for all cattle of good quality, although prices were back about 20s per head on lasl week's rates. Quotations: - Prime bullocks Jtlsto £l7 ; extra to £22 7s (id ; medium to good £l2 to £l4 10s; light and inferior £9 103 to £ll ; be&t cows and heifers £ll to £l3 ; medium £0 to £lO 10s ; inferior 17 to £B. F*t Sheep.—3ss6 penned. The yarding consistod principally of ewe 3 and wethers of medium quality, with a few pens of heavy sheep, i'rices were down considerably from last week's extreme rates, but were fully equal to those ruling a fortnight ago. Quotations : Prime wethers 31s to 34s ; extra to 37s (id ; medium 25s to 20s ; inferior 19s to 235; best ewes 27s to 30s; medium 20b to 245; inferior 14s to 18s. Fat Lambs.—A large yarding, 1194 being penned. Exporters were operating freely, and late values were well maintained. Best lambs 22s to 26s ; medium to good 19s to 21a 6d; inferior 16b to 18s. Pigs. -A medium yarding of fats, and although values were not up to last week's extreme rates, good prices were obtained. Quotations :—Best baecner3 to 95a ; medium to 80s; best porkers to 60s; medium to 50s; slips to 25s ; weaners to 18s. Rabbitskina: —We held par usual fortnightly sale on Monday, the sth insfc, when we submitted a small catalogue to the usual attendance of buyers. Competition was keen, and late prices showed an advance on late rates. Quotations:—Small to racks to ll^d; racks to 12Jd; summers to U4.d; early autumns to 16d; early winters to 20£ d; autumns and incoming to 19id; autumn black to winter bucks and does to 23d ; winter black to 56d ; hareskins to ldd ; oatskins 2d to 12$ d each. Horsehair to 18Jd per lb. Sheepskins:—Our next sheepskin sale will be held on Tuesday, 13th iust. Hides:—Our next sale will be held on Thursday, Bth inst. Oats.—There is a good enquiry for all lineß of good and bright heavy oats suitable for seed or feed requirements, and for these late rates are maintained. Prime milling 2s 4d to 2s sd; good to best feed 2s 2d to 2s 3d per bushel (sa?ks extra). Wheat. —Millers are not buying freely, and are very partioular as to quality. Choice lines sell readily, but doubtly or medium lines are out of demand except for fowl wheat. Prime milling velvet 5a to 5s 2d; prime milling Tuscan 4s 3d to 4s 4d; medium 43 to 4s 2d; best whole fowl wheat 3s 9d to 3s lid per bushel (sacks extra). Chaff.—During the past week the market has been poorly supplied, with the result that values show a firmer tendency. There iB still very little enquiry for light and medium quality. Best oaten sheaf £3 15s to £4; medium to good £3 5s to £3 10s ; light and discolored £2 15s to £3 per ton (sacks extra). Potatoes—Consignments are not coming in so freely of late. There is a keen demand for lines of choice quality, and sales have been effected at an advance on late rates. Best table potatoes £6 to £6 10a; medium £5 5s to £5 15b per ton (sacks in). Weekly Market Report. Messes' Waters, Ritchie, and Co., auctioneers, wool, grain, produce, and commission agent 3, report (wholesale) for the week as under. All quotations are subject to market fluctuations : Wheat—Market quiet. Prime velvet 4/11 5/1, other sorts 4/3 to 4/6 per bushel on trucks. Oats.—Better demand. Milling 2/4 J to 2/5, 6d, bright short teed 2j 41, medium and inferior 2/- to 2/3 on trucks. Rabbitskins.—Auction sales fortnightly. Market very firm. Summers lOd to 12d, autumns 15d to 18d, winters 22d to 27d. Sheepskins Keen demand. Crossbreds lOd to 12d, fallen skins from 7d to 10£ d, pelts 4d to 9d per lb. Hides—Market firm. Ox lOd to 11 Jd. cow 8f d to lOd. Tallow Market] aotive. Rough fat 16s to 20s, tallow in tins' 24? to 30-i, oasks 28s to 35s per cwt Horsehair.- 18d to 2M par lb.
