“THE MANDARIN.”

The programme appears in our advertising columns. Tho opera is full of fun and tuneful {melodies, intermixed with solos, duets, trios, and quartets. The performers have been well and carefully trained by tho conductor, the Eev. H. Packo, and will, doubtless, give a good account of themselves. The opera will bo splendidly staged, and our advice is: Don’t miss it.
A crowded house greeted tho members of the Queenstown Glee Club iu their production of tho opera on Friday evening last. The performance took place in tho Garrison Hall, and was a meritorious one; tho various parts allotted tho performers, particularly tho principals, being well sustained.
