There is an all-round increase in the revenue of the Commonwealth. Seven New York city councillors and two bankers have been arrested on charges of bribery and corruption. A slaughtering record was put up a day or two ago at the Gisborne Sheepfarmers' Frozen Meat Company's works, the total reached being 3639.
