Millar, of Melbourne, will arrive in Queenstown towards the end of next week. As it is not often so distinguished an artist is at our very doors, arrangements have been made whereby he will make one appearance in Arrowtown on Saturday, 16th inst. Mr Toy's fame is world-wide and his name is as well known in Loudon and Berlin as [in tho capital cities of the Commonwealth. He will be accompanied by Mrs A. C. Orr-Loring and Mr Percy James of Dunedin and by his sister Miss Lilian Toy. Residents of this district are urged not to neglect this opportunity of hearing so celebrated a violinist, who will be supported by some of Duuedin's best talent. The London Press are high in their praise of this talented artist. His tone is rich,'his phrasing displays artistic sentiment, and his execution is highly finished, indeed brilliant. Arrowtown people are fortunate in being favored with a visit from Australia's celebrated violinist. Mr Miller, under whose direction the performance will be given, has made the prices for admission extremely reasonable, so that one and all will be able to hear this talented artist. We anticipate a big house on the 16th.
