Alexandra defeated Cromwell on Saturday by 8 to G, and won the premiership of Vincent. The football match Auckland v. Otago ended in a draw, the score being six points each. The game was somewhat rough, and one of the visitors was ordered off the field for roughly throwing another player who did not have the ball.
The Wellingfcon-Taranaki match was commenced at Wellington in bad weather, the ground being covered with water. After the first spell the players refused to continue, and the game was drawn, Wellington having scored a try.
