The following is. tho allocation of lands to landless natives by the Commissioners : —Southland and Waiau 44,455 acres to 1278 persons; Waiaurahiri 10,866 acres, 280 persons ; Tautuku 11,615 acres, 366 persons; Raymond's Gap 350 acres, 8 persons ; Hokonui 27,809, 772 persons ; Forest Hill 850 acres, 20 persons ; Stewart Island—Lords River 8724 acres, 241 persons; Toi Tois River 7392 acres, 181 persons ; Port Adventure 9340 acres, 308 persons ; Otago—Glenomaru 350 acres 7 persons; Wanaka 1553 acres, 57 persons. The total area allocated in tho South Island is 142,118 acres.
