EXCESSIVE RAINFALL.

Great Damage in Viotoria.

A phenominal rainstorm occurred on the 10th. Several streets in the different townships were raging torrents. It ib stated that the damage to property is enormous, while it is estimated that 10,000 sheep and 250 head of cattle perished. So far there is no loss of life. Several districts were a vast expanse of water. Flemington racecourse is covered to a depth of six feet. A late meaiage says the floods have subelded. Two boys lost their lives.
