Lady Violently Assaulted. Mrs M'Craig, a visitor .from Fiji, was assaulted by a burglar at Devonporfc on Friday night. Ho entered her bedroom. The thief seized her by the throat and neck, dragged her to the door, thrusting his fingers down her throat to prevent her screaming, and thou bolted. When the other occupants of tiie house arrived the thief had disappeared, and the woman, who was in a weak state of health, fainted remaining unconscious for some little time. Her luggage wasovorhauled, ton sovereigns being stolen.
