The annual school picnic was held at Skippers Point on .Fiidu last. There was an abundant supply of good things provided by the ladies of the Point and tln-ir fiend-, and these v ere done ample just ce to by the young folks — aid the old fo.ks too. Vuriougames were i- du ged in by the adults, and a number of running and jumping events, etc. w re got up for the- youngsteis. Toe committee all Worked bud to make th ■ picnic the success t w.i-, hue \Jr J. Stephenson might be singled out or special mention, while the M'sses Aspiuall and Stephenson took ear • hat no one unit home hungry. A dam: • wis held in the evening, the music for which was suppl ed by Mr M. Aspinall, and Mr Arthur Foord mtde an elheient M.C.
