The Government have announced their intention to close the session on Tuesday n xt. They will abandon the Regulation of Elections, Election Petitions, Corrupt Practices, Hospital,' Gaming and Lotteries, Canterbury Rivers, Railway Construction, Representation, and Alienation of Maori Land Bills ; and will stand to the Property Tax, Customs Tariff, Land Tax Collection, Building Society, and Electoral Acts; and repeal the Judgment against Real, Estate Act if possible. Special powers will be ashed in respect to the Counties, Public Reserves, Southland. Boys and Girls-High School, Otago-Boys and Girls High School, Chinese Immigration, and Native Law Suits Acts.
