Food Parcel Fund Benefit

rile Food Parcel Fund for ;i football team in Britain will benefit materially by the Victory ball which was held in its aid in the Lower Shotover Hal! on Thursday last. There was a large attendance from all parts of the district. Socially, the ball was a great success. Music was provided by McNamara’s dance band.. -Miss Phyllis -Downey played an extra. A Lucky Spot dance was won by Mr H. Scott and Miss Anderson. The women of Shotover supplied supper. The president of the Country Football Club, Mr W. McLean, thanked the public and all who had contributed to the success of the ball.
