ARAPAE

(Own Correbpondent.) A dance was held in the Arapae Hall on Thursday last, when there was a fair attendance. The music was supplied by Miss M. Trembath, and an extra was played by Mr. Lafferty. A Monte Carlo was won by Miss E. Brickland and Mr. J. McDonald. A dainty supper was served by the ladies. Personal. Mrs. Blom has returned ,to her home at Kelburn, after spending a holiday at Mrs. W. J. Trembath’s. Mr. C. Holden, who has been staying with his parents, has returned to Mokoia. Mrs. W. J. Trembath, who is to undergo an operation, has entered the Hamilton Hospital. Mrs. H. G. Weir is visiting Wellington.
