RUSSIAN AIR FORCE

SPECTACULAR DISPLAY. BEFORE FRENCH FOREIGN MINISTER.* (Press Association. —Copyright.) (Received 12.45 p.m.) Moscow, May 15. Leaping at 3000 feet with twentythree others from a bomber, an Air Force member landed by parachute at the feet of M. Laval’s daughter Jose, and presented her with a bouquet of flowers brought down from the skies. This was a picturesque incident of a spectacular Air Force display at the chief military aerodrome at Monine, where M. Laval was the first foreigner to be admitted. M. Laval watched twenty-six chasers and nineteen huge bombers in mock attack. He later declared that Russia had fine machines, valiant pilots, and a great leader.
