MUTUAL LIFE ASSURANCE SOCIETY, LTD. The Board of the Australasian T. and G. Mutual Life Society reports that the new business completed during the financial year ended September 30th was as follows: In the Ordinary Department 25,706 policies assuring £7,034,665 and in the Industrial Department 141,312 policies assuring £5,782,149, the total Life business issued being 167,018 policies assuring £12,816,814. These completions constitute a record in the history of the Society, and exceed those of the previous year by 17,953 policies and £1,303,362 of assurance. In addition in the Accident Department there were written 12,241 personal accident and sickness policies for £3,588,184 and 9936 policies in the Ordinary Department were endorsed with accident benefits for £1,635,010.
