CENTENARY AIR RACE

ELABORATE LIGHTING ARRANGEMENTS. ALONG LINE OF ROUTE. (Press Association. —Copyright.) (Received 11.20 a.m.) Simla, October 3. Arrangements have been completed to provide a line of light from Karachi to Victoria Point for the Centenary Air Race. As the competitors approach Karachi will be illuminated by a floodlight beacon which will be visible 60 miles away. There will be a similar beacon at the Jodphur aerodrome at Delhi. Cawnpore will have boundary lights, flares, and a mobile floodlight beacon. A small revolving beacon is being installed at Allahabad, in addition to a beacon at Calcutta.
