LEAGUE UNDER FIRE
GERMAN BROADCAST.
“TOOL OF JEWS AND MARXISTS.” (Press Association. —Copyright.) (Received 11.35 a.m.) Berlin, October 20. A semi-official broadcast, referring to Germany's withdrawal from the League, describes the League as “an anti-Fascist mass meeting” by allowing itself to be made the platform of the Jews and Marxists.” The League, in addition to international failures, has lost its last claim to be regarded as a universal organisation of the civilised world, and Germany will no longer participate in such mass demonstrations, which caricature international cooperation.
