SUCCESSFUL FLIGHTS.

ON HOME-BUILT MACHINE

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Gore, this day.

Mr. David Cross, of Chatton, successfully flew a home-made aeroplane on two short flights. The machine reached a height of 200 feet, but the propeller and undercarriage were damaged owing to striking a log on landing. This was the first time Mr. Cross had been at the controls of any machine. .
