MAGISTRATE'S COURT
SITTING TO-DAV. g A sitting of the local Magistrate’s Court is being held to-day, Mr. F. W. Platts, S.M., being on the Bench. There were no police cases. JUDGMENT BY DEFAULT. Judgment by default was given for plaintiffs in the following civil actions:—Caley Motors, Ltd. v. D. Davidson, for £7 11s, with costs £1 10s 6d; J. Nicholls and Son v. Anthony Mischewski, for £8 6s lOd, with costs £1 4s 6d; N. N. Zadey v. B. Scott, for £7 6s, with costs £1 12s 6d. JUDGMENT SUMMONS. On a judgment summons R. K. Wetere was ordered to pay Murray and McAlley the sum of £23 6s 2d, in default 3 weeks, the warrant to be suspended so long as debtor pays the sum of £5 per month.
