The Archbishop of Canterbury says everyone will recognise the gravity of the situation in regard to the life, work and worship of the Church of England. The Archbishops of Canterbury and York next week are consulting with other Bishops, thereafter issuing a statement to guide the clergy and the laity in time of confusion and anxiety. The Archbishops ask that patience and charity be exercised and that precipitate words and acts should be avoided pending the statement. TO BE SCRAPPED. ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND PRAYER BOOKS.
