SERIOUS CHARGE.

ALLEGED UNNATURAL OFFENCE. i ACCUSED REMANDED TO SUPREME COURT. Charged with committing an unnatural offence against a male, Hervey Elldwidge Christian, who was represented by Mr E. M. Mackersey, appeared on remand at the Police "Court this morning! before Messrs J. F. Walsh and G. Churcher, J.P.'s. The Court was cleared during the hearing of the evidence. The accused pleaded not guilty and was committed to the Supreme Court at Hamilton on 21st February for trial. !

Application for bail was refused
