BIG INCREASE AT TE KUITI. 900 MORE PASSENGERS. The local railway bookings for the holiday 'period from December 17 to January 8 show an increase of nearly 30 per cent, upon (he passenger business last year. The figures include, besides the actual bookings at the To Kuiti office, those of other stations on tlTe Te Kuiti section from Waimiha to Te Kawa. There were exactly 900 more passengers this year than last, the figures being, 1925, 3882 passengers; 1924, 2982. The increase in revenue was £250.
