A COMMUNIST'S PLANS.
FOR RISING IN NEWCASTLE. COMPREHENSIVE PR OGR AMME. (Press Association.—Copyright.) (Received, 9.10 a.m.) London, January 7. Percy Gibson, a leading Communist, was charged at Newcastle with being in possession of explosives. The prosecution stated that Gibson had a secret: room where he told his friends that he wished to blow up the Town Hntll when the Council was sitting, then the power stations, and when the city was in darkness the Communists would loot the shops. Much Communistic, literature advocating violence for political purposes was found in his room. Gibson, when caught on the quay with the explosives, said he intended to dump them in tho river. He was remanded.
