——— WON BY AUSTRALIAN YOUTH. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Nelson, this day. The chess championship was won by Purdy, the 17-year-old Australian, with 7 points. Guyles and Vaughan were runners-up with o£ points, Anderson coming next with 5 points.
