The government by Japan of Korea and Manchuria called from the Bev. Frederick Stubbs at the “Y” Club luncheon in Wellington last week, the statement that on the whole the Japanese control was carried out as well as could be expected. “Although the Japanese have sometimes been very bard on these people, these countries are very well governed,” he said, “and the people are remarkably hospitable and kind.”
