STOCK SALE REPORTS. TE AWAMUTU. The N.Z. Loan and M.A. Co., Ltd., report:— At Te Awamutu stock sale on Saturday, 24th inst., we yarded 38 head of cattle, also sheep and pogs in average numbers. There was good competition for beef and store cows, and young cattle sold exceptionally well, and the majority of the entry changed hands. We quote:— Fat steers £8 7s 6d, best fat cows £5 to £6 2s, light fat cows £4 6s to £1 12s 6d, unfinished cows £3 5s to £3 15s, store cows £1 19s to £2 15s, 31-year-old forward steers £4 14s, yearling steers £2 os to £2 13s, 15months Friesian heifers £5 5s to £7 for two choice pens bred by Mr J. Coxhead and sired by “King Alcartra of Monavale” ; 15-months Jersey cross heifers £2 17s to £4, 15-montlis Shorthorn heifers £2 to £2 6s, yearling heifers £1 11s to £1 16s, best heifers at profit £8 to £lO. Shorn hoggets £1 4s- lOd to £1 7s, ewes and lambs £1 16s 3d. Pigs: Porkers 35s to 38s 6d, slips 25s to 275, weaners 16s to 19s.

TE KUITI. The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report holding their usual sale at Te Ivuiti on Wednesday, 28th November. There was a good yarding of sheep, but cattle did not come forward in the usual number. Sheep met with keen competition, a line of good shorn 2-tooth ewes making 33s 9d, while a line of 6-tootli and 4year old shorn wethers realised from 26s to 28s sd, fat hoggets 275, wether hoggets (shorn) 24s lOd. Cattle: Fat cows £3 2s to £4 ss, steers £4 ss, cows and calves £2 10s to £2 19s, store cows 25s to 32s 6d, 15-month Jersey heifers £7 2s. FEILDING. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Palmerston North, report that owing to the sale at Feilding being held on an off day, Thursday, the 29th inst., only a very small entry come forward. Quotations: Fat shorn wethers 23s 7d, light b.f. 2-tootlis 245, good 2-tootli wethers 24s 9d, potter bulls £2 15s. HOME PRODUCE MARKETS. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having received the following cabled advice from their head office, London, under date the 29th inst.:— Butter.—Market firm. We quote : N.Z. (salted) at 2165, Danish 2205, finest Australian (salted) 208 s ; unsalted, not quoted. Cheese.—N.Z., coloured, 110 s ; white 108 s; Canadian, c.i.f., 110 s. N.Z. prime crossbred lamb, Canterbury, heavy light lid; North Island; heavy Bid, light IOJd. Demand runs principally on light weights, and market dull. N.Z. prime crossbred mutton, Canterbury, not quoted; North Island, heavy 7d, light 7fd. Demand steady and market steady. N.Z. prime ox beef, hinds 4Jd, fores 3jd.
