In connection with the Glasgow Conference wild scenes were witnessed at the Labour demonstrations. In the evening scores of women were carried out bodily, screaming during Mr Ramsay Macdonald's speech, so great was the interest and excitement. One attempted to throw herself from the balcony into the body of the hall.
