SECTIONS i''Oß SELECTION. The unoccupied Crown lands of the districrare being gradually opened for settlement and in the next few months a considerable area in various localities will be opened under different sections of the Land Act. In the Tangitu survey district on January 21st, a partly improved section will be offered under the optional tenure. The section,'which has an area is loaded with improvements to tiie value of £228 17s, of which £B9 13s 9d lias to be paid by the successful applicant in cash, the balance being included in the capital value of £6OO. The section is situated about thirteen miles fmotn Waimiha railway station. On the same day will bs opened a section consisting of 13SS acres valued at £1220. situated alo?}g the Main Trunk railway between Ongarue and Waimiha. In Mapara survey district on DeCBinber!,4th a section of 448 acres will be offered; on January 15th 17 acres; and on February 12th a section of 327 acres.
