AMUSEMENTS.
EMPRESS PICTURES. "Holy State or Matrimonial Muddle," a 3000 feet star comedy to be screened to-night is a famous French farce, said to have convulsed thousands of Parisians with laughter. The play contains a aeries of farcical situations of the most complicated nature, and the hero's affairs and those of his long suffering friend reach a pitch of entanglement as we approach the climax that we almost share the bewilderment of some of the pictures ourselves. The supporting pictures are of the usual high order and include the latest Gaurnont Graphic.
