OBITUARY.
MR LAURENSON, M.P. A SUDDEN END. [HY TIiLKGKAI'IE. AS.SOCLA.XIO V. J Wellington, This Day. Mr G. Laurenson, M.P., for Lyttelton died this morning. REV. FATHER WILLIAMS. It is with much regret that we have to chronicle the death of Father Williams, late of Taumarunui. Some little time ago Father Williams was obliged to take a holiday, and it was then discovreed he was seriously ill. He was taken to [ithe Mater Misericoidine Hospital in Auckland, and becoming gradually worse death took place on Sunday night. Father Williams was widely esteemed in the district and his early demise will be-deeply regretted by all sections of the community. only 31 yfiarß of age, and was a native of County Westmeath, in Ireland. His father and mother are still alive, and he has a brother a priest at Leeds, England.
