EMPRESS THEATRE. The star photo-play to bo scrooned at tho Empress Theatre to-night, is undoubtedly an epoch-mak«r amongst Italian dramas. The fact that Zacconi, the Italian Sir Henry Irving, was paid £SOO for this single performance, is sufiiciently striking, but we may add that tho film is of "magnificent quality, includes :i fire spectacle which has never been equalled, and is distinguished by some of the most powerful acting over soon. Staging and quality are perfect, and there can be no question that thie film takes its place in the very front rank of photo-dramas. TOWN HALL .TO-NIGHT. Tho Premier Pictures will be screened this evening, and an inviting and attractive programme will be submitted, including the absorbing and sensational film entitled "Fra Diavolo,'" the Brigand of tho Italian forests. This film shows a hold-up of the stage coach and an exciting struggle on a precipice. The star film "The Mystery of the Seven O Clock Express" is a detective drama t of exceptional realism, and is over 2000 feet in length. The scenic picture is taken in the forest of Rambouittes, and interest is created in this picture by an interesting and most complete stag hunt. Educational, oramatic, scenic, and comic films assist in supply,•„,* an up-to-date programme.
