The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, report At Te Kuiti yards on Wednesday we held our first Spring sale of cattle and sheep. There was only a fair yarding of cattle —480, and a small muster of sheep. All stock sold well and what was passed at auction was sold readily before leaving thp yards. Fat cows £5 10s. to £7 ss, 2 year old steers £4 to £4 12s 6d, 18-months steers £3 10s to £3 15s. yearling steers £2 10s to £3, 2-year heifers £3 10s to £3 15s, yearling heifers £2 15s to £3 4s, dairy heifers in calf £4 10s to £7 ss, dairy cows to £7.
