TE KUITI SCHOOL.

Alteration of Hours. At a special meeting of the above committee which was held on Thursday evening it was resolved that as the result of reference to parents re the alteration of school hours the school shall open at 8.30 a.m. and close at 2 p.m. The result of the poll was as follows: —For: 67 parents, representing 136 children; agninst: 19 parents, representing 34 children. Special arrangements have been made for children attending from a distance, namely, the teachers will take it in turn and give these children an extra hour each afternoon.
