HOCKEY.

Arrangements have been made for a team of hockey players to visit Te Awamutu to-morrow (Thursday) to play a match with the neighbouring town. The visitors hope to give a good account of themselves. The team will be composed of the following: — Goal, D. Mitchell; full-backs, C. Turner and W. McColl; halves, R. Fitzmaurice, A. Price, H. Ellison; wing forwards, G. Gresham, J. Hetet; forwards, N. Cole, V. Kirk (centre), A, D. Spring. Emergencies, T. Hetet, and McMeekan. The team leave by the 11 a.m. train and return by the 5 p.m. from Te Awamutu, providing the game can be started early enough. H. Ellison is secretary and A. D. Spring manager.
