HASSAN THE INDIAN MAGICIAN AND CO.
The above versatile company appeared at the Town Hall, Te Kuiti, on Wednesday evening before the largest audience yet seen in Te Kuiti. The company comprises several first-class artists, amongst which Hassan the mystifying Indian magician is the star performer. His marvellous feats of myterious art in producing things from nowhere, and magically returning them to the same indefinable realm quite non-plussed the audience. His card-changing feats are impenetrable, and apparently from his mouth he produced a small keg of nails. He concludes his performance by lifting a 641b stone from the floor of the stage with his eyelids. He places underneath his eyelids two silver cups to which are attached cord's, and without the aid of external aid he leans back and carries the stone several yards on the stage. Keilderson, is a novel quick-change artist and ventriloquist of no mean order, and although seen through the Dominion on many previous occasions, he does not fail to keep his audience well entertained. Mr Herbert Anderson, comedian, was al«o well received, his songs meeting with much approbation, and he was recalled several times. Mr John Lemone, is the musical director, and assisted greatly in the evening's entertainment. The company also possess a Vicoscope apparatus, which depicted several amusing pictures and situa tions on the screen. Altogether the company is one well worth the patronage of the public.
