SCARLET TROUBADOURS.
The much-anticipated Scarlet Troubadours open their season on Monday night in the Public Hall, which the management announces is strictly limited to one night only, and judging by the unusual amount of interest that has been evinced in the booking office for seats, they will meet v/ith a warm and enthusiastic welcome. The Troubadours are so well known that there is no need for us to here describe them further than to say that they are London's celebrated comedy costume company, and without doubt, the most notable combination cf eminent English artists that has toured the British Empire. Every artist has been specially selected from the very foremost ranks of English "stars" by Mr Edward Branscombe, whose name throughout the English-speaking world is regarded as the hall-mark of excellence and humour. The programme on Monday night will be of that delightfully bright, sparkling, and novel character that has made the name of the Troubadours famous. Operatic gems, muueal scenes, dramatic burlesques, exquisite part-sineing, lightning cartoons in coloured chalks, make up an entertainment intensely interesting and amusing. The striking personnal of the company is practically the same as that which first made its great London reputation. The boxplan is now open at McColl's. Prices of admission are reserved seats 4s, unreserved 2s. Te Kuiti residents.are extremely fortunate in having a visit from such a fine organisation, and it is only by chance, and partly by experiment on the management's part that this visit ha 3 been arranged.
