Carrol, among others. ‘So Evil My Love,” based on a novel by Joseph Shearing, tells the dramatic, true story of the transformation of a fine respectable woman into a thief, a - black-mailer and, finally, a murderess—all for the sake of the man she loves. Origin of the' story is a murder .case that rocked England in the 1860’s.
