AMENDED ORDER PRICE FOR SEED POTATOES.

Retail prices for seed potatoes are i|»rc clearly defined in an amending price order just, issued. Prices/ for certified and uncertified seed are now defined separately, uncertified seed being 10 per. cent, cheaper than in the original order, and certified seed being 20 per cent, dearer. Uncertified seed is bought in much greater quantities than certified seed. Retail prices only are affected by the amendment, growers’ prices remaining 'unchanged. The maximum retail prices for small lots of uncertified seed potatoes (the price of certified seed being shown in parentheses) now are: 11b, 34d-(5d); 71b, 2/ (2/9); 141 b, 3/9 (5/); 281 b 6/9 (9/); 561 b, 11/9 (15/6); 1121 b, 19/ (25); 1681 b, 28/6 (37/6).
