BAZAAR

IN AID OF PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH The annual bazaar held under the .supervision of St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, was held on Saturday in St. Paul’s Hall. Despite the unfavourable weather there was a continuous flow of the public and excellent business was done at all the stalls. The Rev. 1\ Robertson welcomed all present and expressed the hope that there would be sufficient goods at the stalls to meet demands. The bazaar was a pronounced success, and thos associated with its organisation are to be congratulated on its success. Those in charge of the various stalls were:—Work, Mesdames Robertson and Haswell; fancy, Mesdames R. L. Withers and R. G. Johnson; produce, Mesdames M. A. Collyns, T. J. Schroder, Misses Davies and D. Coombes; cakes, Mesdames T. Drabble and J. Aitken; sweets, Mis W. D. Sabiston; bran tub, Miss Peggy Bremner; ship quoits, Miss M. Wells; afternoon tea, Mesdames A. E. Lee, L. J. Kennedy, C. Prince, R. Mahoney, Misses L. E. Davidson, R. I Gibson, O. Carter, and G. Collyns.
