FUNERALS
MR WILLIAM GEORGE SMITH The late Mr William George Smith, who was born in Kaikoura 53 years ago, was the son of Mrs and the late G. H. B. Smith, and was associated with farm work most of his life. He took a keen interest in the Collie Dog Club and other sporting activities. A large number of residents attended the funeral and many floral tributes were forwarded. The Rev. S. Comey conducted the service at the graveside. miss t. e. McDonald The funeral of Tamahine Elizabeth McDonald took place at the Mangaamunu Cemetery on Monday last and was largely attended. The service at the graveside was conducted by the Rev. Father Devlin. Floral tributes were forwarded by Mr and Mrs W. E. Richardson and family, Mr and Mrs D. H. Stove, Mr and Mrs H.
