Value Of Good Advertising

RUGBY, July 7. The .Prince of Wales was the guest of honour at the Advertising Association’s dinner. He said the production of goods was no longer the most pressing problem Recently scientists and inventors had put into man’s bands the means of producing goods in quantities and at prices that would have staggered our forefathers. Industrialists, being progressive people, had naturally adopted these new discoveries and inventions and in Great Britain they were more than holding their own. The greatest problem to-day, and probably for many years to come, was to find a way to sell all the goods produced towards this end. He was certain good advertising would play a very vital part. Good advertising went hand in hand with salesmanship.
