ATTEMPTED BURGLARY.

Late on Saturday night or early on Sunday morning an attempt was made to enter the premises of Messrs W. Morris and Son, tailors and mercers, East End. A portion of the glass panel in the door had been broken and the key of the lock turned. Fortunately the door had bolts top and bottom, and the efforts of the burglars were fms. trated. There were finger prints on the remaining glass, which was taken possession of by the police, and may give a clue to the perpetrators.
