SCHOOL FOOTBALL.

On Wednesday afternoon, on the Mackenzie School Grounds, a fast sevenaside game was played between Spotswood and Mackenzie Schools. The -Mackenzie boys had the advantage in weight and speed. The scores were: Mackenzie 42, Spotswood 8. For the winners tries were score*] by Neil Crampton (5), Les Burnett (2), and George Crosson (2). Six of the tries were converted, by Crampton. Carson, Reilly, Burnett, and Urossen, and Crampton kicked a penalty. For Sjotswood Jarvis scored two tries

and converted one. Mr Berg was re feree. After the game the visitors wen entertained by the Mackenzie player at afternoon tea.
