ORCHESTRAL SOCIETY CONCERT.

'The concert to I>e given by the Kaikoura Orchestral Society on Monday, xlay 26, promises to far eclips;' the first concert held in March. The Orchestra has been considerably strengthened by the addition of several new members, and it is anticipated that there will he seventeen instrumentalists on the stage, as against ten on the previous occasion. There is also a very marked improvement in the all-round work of the Orchestra, and a wide variety of selections will be included in the programme. 'The great attention Io expression, ami the excellent combination achieved, will make all the orchestral numbers worthy of being heard. The programme will also include vocal and instrumental -items, and ns all the performers are local residents, the concert is worthy of every cneoutagcnient and support.
