Culture For Editors Turkish Journalism
London, Aug 28 A certain standard of education and culture for editors and leaderwriters is prescribed in the newTurkish Press Law, says the Constantinople correspondent of The Times. The measure, which is designed to raise the level of Turkish journaism, prohibits the publication of news prejudicial to the Government’s policy, sensational crime, or news pictures. Papers disregarding those regulations will be suspended.
