The mine manager r^pofijgior the Week level 80 feet. The contractors r «re cutting out the ground for the opening set. The shaft will be down the required depth in about a fortnight if tlie ground remains as good as it is at present. Soulli Lease. Prospecting is still going on but no change. Tenders for chamber and driving to the lode will be invited on Mon« uay, to close at end of the month.
