KEEP-IT-DARK.
For months past tho genoral reports from week to week upon the future of this claim have stated there was nothing to prevent it from ranking as a splendid property. And although many were doubtful of. this assertion being verified it is nev^thless very gratifying to all interested to see tho highly satisfactory position of affairs at tho present time. The last months proceedings have already been racorded, nnd as tho reef haß been throughly well proved, both by tho level and the rise, the mere process of break* ing stono and running it to the mill is all that can be noted; and, would that we could record the same thing of every mine in the district, aud at the oud of tho month notify the declaration by a ninepenny dividend. Tho new tunuel is in 65 feet.
