Collis Bhownb was the discoverer of Chlorodyne ; that they proscribed it largely, and mean no other than Dr Bbownb's.— See Times, of July 12, 18H The Public, therefore, are cautioned against using any other than Dji J. Collis Bkowne's CHLOinDYNE. EEMEDIAL USES AND ACTION. Montgomery, Esq., late Inspector of Hospitals, , Bombay: "Chlorodyne is a most valuable retnedp in Neuralgia, Asthma, and Dysentery. To it I fairly owe my restoration to health,, .after eighteen months' severe suffering, and when all other remedies had failed." Dr. Lowe, Medical Missionary in India, reports (December, 1865) :— •' That in nearly every case of Cholera in which Dr. J. COLLIS ! BiioWNis's Chlorodyne was administered, the patient recovered." Extract from tho Medical Times, January 12, 1866 :— : "Clorodync is prescribed by scores of orthodox medical praotitioners. Of course, it would not thus be singularly popular, did t not ' supply a. want and 1111 a place.' " Extract from the General Board of Health, London, as to ita efliciioy in Choieia : — " So stiongly convinced aro we of the immense value of this remedy, that we cunnot too forcibly urge the necessity of adopting it in all catea."
