THE INANG/.IIUA COUNTY COUNCIL, VJ7HEEEAS, # iKASOA.fDA Count r Council, at a meeting held on tho lsfcdsy of Aujus! isr7, pummnt to the powers conferred jy Section 107 of the 'Counties ct, 18/6," and in exercise of 'he same, and o all other powers in this behalf them cr abling, resolved that a GENERAL RAPE on all Rateable i Property within ihe said County, for carrying into effect the general purposes of the said Act, Jshould be made and levied in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, anfl of "The Rating Act, 1876." And wherfeas, in and by the said resolution the Ccfuncil resolved that the said Rate should! be made and levied as aforesaid for the period of one year from .jbe day of the maiing and levying thereof, and should be pfiid in one sum, and that the amount of such rate should be the sum of ONEI SHILLING in the POUND on th< values of the Rateable Property as apj earing in the Valuation Roll now in force in the County aforesaid. ■ Notice therefore is hereby given pursuant to the provision i of the last mentioned Act that the said Council on THURSDAY, the 16th day ofl August, now instant, intend to make aijd levy such Rato, and to order and direct jthat tho amount thereof shall be the sum of One Shilling in the Pound on the values aforesaid ; that the said Rate shall Ho for the period of One Year from the Bate of the making and levying thereof, jind shall be paid in one sum on THURSDAY, (he 27th day of SEPTEMEERJuow nest ensuing.
