Byrne, and carried, V Thai the Council do and hereby dpli make and levy a general rat* of one shilling in the pound on tile annual value to let of all rateable property within the County of Inangahua (as appearing on the valuation rpll now in force for the said County), for carrying into effect the genaral .purposes of the ' Counties Actf, 1876 ' ' that such rate be for oae war from the 27 Lh day of August/ instant ; and that the same be payable in one sum on the Ist October, 1877." r.
