Tho n^oying parties were two married women, npighbors, living in Kelly street. The plaintiff 1 , a Mrs Oflurtney, complained that the, defendant had boxed her child's ears. The only reason plaintiff couls assign for the act was that her child had refused to go for beer for defendant. Defendant admitted pulling the child's ear, but denied^ that oho. had, et ec aiked the child to go for beer for her. At the time she pulled the child's ear, the girl was on her way home with, a bottle of beer. Blaintiff interposed that it was a fojetquarter of mutton, the child was carrying at the time.
